Play the Blame Game?

Since many of the Seahawk games did not materialize and become as entertaining as we have been accustomed to in recent years, it seems the game of choice for many is now... The Blame Game. Let's Play the Blame Game.... I say, let's NOT.

What good does it do? For those who have to play the blame game, go ahead, get it out of your system. You and I know all you will really get out of it is that you get the satisfaction of saying - AHHHHHH..HAAAAAA....... It's YOUR fault!! Ok, go ahead if you must - (I'll wait while you do it.. ^_^)

OK - got that out of your system? Did it make you feel better? NOW WHAT?? Did it fix the team issues? Did it heal the injured players? Did it fix the issues with management? NOPE... But by golly, you got the satisfaction of say AHHHH..HAAA!!

Yeah, I am frustrated, as are many fans and booster club members. Rather than play the meaningless blame game, l say let's put our energy into supporting the rebuilding process and the changes that are about to happen.

Let's all get on the same page - and let's all say, "Ahhhh.. HAAAAAAA.... so YOU'RE the ones rebuilding our team."

GO HAWKS!!

  • Aahhhhhh... Haaaaa...I agree it is time to be getting serious about a new franchise quarterback. However, I do not agree that Matt is washed up.

I feel with good "protection" he is viable for another 2-3 years. I say give Matt a 2-year extension, thus making it a three year term and into retirement.

At the same time, draft the new "franchise" quarterback. Give that person time to learn. Both quarterbacks will be learning new systems, but Matt has NFL experience. The single biggest mistake (in my opinion) many teams make is taking a good (potential) quarterback draft pick and then simply toss them to the wolves. No wonder very few new quarterbacks are succeeding.

Interesting times for the team and the organization - Major changes in the wind, no two ways about that...
