WeeHawk at the Bunker WeeHawk at the Bunker
WeeHawk has literally survived 7 rocket attacks on our compound, so Wee is now battle ready for next year's season! He has earned the right to wear the uniform of the US Army, so now sports his ACU's. He's now ready to REFRAD so is almost on his way home. I'm sure he'll have many fond memories of bringing a great boost of morale to the Seahawk fans here in Iraq! "Thanks Dad for letting me visit", says Wee! It's been great seeing his smiling face when I walked into my CHU after a long day's work. The little guy will be missed. He wasn't very good at dropping on the ground on his own during "INCOMING" though, so alas, he must get home. Thanks again to WeeHawk's Dad, and WeeHawk!
My Trailer in Iraq My Trailer in Iraq
I brought as much Seahawks-related items as I could stuff in my duffle bags! I brought a bed set, blanket, a flag, hats, sweatshirts, a jersey, shirts, Christmas items, and several other misc. Seahawks-gear! My room might be small, but it is awesome!

Touchdown! Touchdown!
9/30 - COL Michael Courts signals Touchdown! beneath the 12 flag. "In our dining facility named the Oasis Sports DFAC (DFAC aka mess hall), we have a couple of smaller rooms for meetings, private dinners etc.," Michael explains. "One of these is the NFL room with Big Screen TVs and banners for various teams along the walls. I was dismayed when I arrived and saw that the "Beloved Seahawks" were not represented. After contacting the Seahawks, we have put team pictures and a pennant on the wall, but in the center of the room, hanging from the ceiling you see the 12th Man flag. Not able to resist the temptation, my friend took a picture of me signaling a touchdown beneath the flag."
